New Kid in Town

We hadn't been out in the city for a while, so we decided to make a go for it and try out Park Tavern in north beach.  It's one of the hot new restaurants in SF and let me tell you, it lives up to all the hype! The space is inviting and warm. The ample bar area is a huge plus, tons of room and features a large communal table in addition to the spacious front and center bar seating. We grabbed a drink at the bar and watched all the yummy food come out, so we knew exactly what we wanted to order. Here's what we ordered; Deviled eggs, bacon, pickled jalepeño & chives, the NY Steak crudo, horseradish, arugula & parmesan,  Manila clam chowder, shaved bottarga & chives and the “Marlowe” burger, caramelized onion, cheddar, bacon, horseradish aioli & fries with the twice baked potato, crème fraiche, cheddar & scallions. And every little thing was wonderful! but nothing beat the company ;-)
